We begin with Annie Moore who grew up in Limerick on Elm Street, was schooled at Limerick Academy and worked at a law office on our Main Street. She is one of the co-founders of "Children's Book Week" established in 1918. Children's Book Week is celebrated annually across fifty states in the USA. Its goal to instill a lifelong love of reading in young people by promoting a wide range of educational activities and events.
