Public Safety Building Committee
The Public Safety Building Committee is an advisory committee to the Selectboard. They are charged with development of a plan for a new Public Safety Building that will house the Fire and EMS services for the town of Limerick.
Meetings are held weekly on Monday (unless there is a holiday - then Tuesday) at 6 p.m. in the Media Room at the Municipal Building.

Meetings are open to the public unless in an Executive Session ordered by the Selectboard. Meetings can be viewed on Spectrum Channel 5 or livestreamed at SRC-TV.org.
The advisory committee is working with Great Falls Construction of Gorham, Maine on design plans to present to the town.
Great Falls Construction representative plans to be at meeting on Tuesday 4/19/2022 at 5:30 pm in Media Room to discuss project with committee.
May 31, 2022 Great Falls Contstuction meets with Public Safety Building Committee on the final plans. Plan is to go out to bid this summer.
August 8, 2022 Final Design Drawings
Bids have been sent out with a return date of August 22, 2022. Great Falls Construction is scheduled to report on August 29, 2022 at 6 p.m.
March 15, 2021 - Public Safety Building Committee established by Selectboard.
April 15, 2022 - Design of proposed facility is in its final phases.

Project Purpose: This funding request will be for the Town of Limerick Fire/Rescue Department to
construct a new facility. The current facility is not adequate to house fire and rescue apparatus, nor for meetings or housing fire and rescue personnel on their overnight shift.
