The Town Clerk/Tax Collector's office is handicapped accessible and is located on the first floor of the Limerick Municipal Building.
A $1 convenience fee up to $40.00 will be charged to consumer. Higher than $40.00 a 2.5% Convenience fee will be charged.

Property Tax General Information:
Our fiscal year is January – December.
Real Estate Taxes are due October 31st. If real estate taxes that are not paid by May 31st a lien will be placed on July 1st.

Motor Vehicle registrations:
Rapid Renewal Vehicle and Trailer Registration
When registering your Motor vehicles you must show us proof of insurance and current mileage.
For new registrations for vehicles 1995 or newer you must have the title and bill of sale.
Recreational Vehicle Online Registration:

Snowmobile registrations begin selling late September/ early October.
ATV registrations begin selling May 1st.
Boat registrations begin selling December 1st
Hunting and Fishing Licenses online:

$15.00 for the first copy and $6.00 for additional copies
Marriage license copies
Licenses available from the Town Clerks Office :
Marriage licenses: $40.00
Dog licenses: $6.00 spayed/neutered, $11.00 otherwise
Kennel licenses: $42.00
$15.00 Late fees begin on April 1st.
There is a $45.00 fee for dogs that are taken to the animal shelter in West Kennebunk for running at large.
All dogs are required to have proof of rabies vaccinations.
