A number of residents have spotted bears in their yards in the past few weeks.  To deter the bears from hanging around, the Game Warden recommends you to take the following  steps:

1.  Make trash cans inaccessible. Bring them in at night or buy a bear-resistance trash can.

2.  Enclose your compost pile

3.  Keep your barbecue grill clean and as free of drippings as possible.

4.  Remove your bird feeders- at least during the night/

If Everyone does this the bears should be gone in about a week.
